Commonwealth Home Support Program
We offer services across different areas to provide all round assistance
- What is the Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP)?
The objective of the program is to improve access to quality home support services for eligible clients. It supports frail, older people living in the community to maximise their independence and ensuring a healthy life through the provision of timely, quality entry level support services, which takes into account each person’s individual goals, preferences and choices.
The CHSP will help frail, older people (65 years and over, or 50 years and over for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people) who are living in the community to maximise their independence.
UNITED is an official service provider of this program.
- How much it will cost?
The Australian Government provides a subsidy towards your care but all persons must contribute an amount to the cost of their care, this is the "Contribution fee".
At UNITED, this fee is $ 3 per service hour.
